A brief biography of the Artist:
The only formal Art class that I took was at the School of Sacred Arts in Manhattan NY. It was for Chinese Lanscape Watercolor. I loved the experience. I presently reside in Woodstock NY and enjoy the colorful town.
In October 1999 I taught pysanky at the High School of Art
and Design in Manhattan. Great fun. In 2000 I taught
the Art of egg decorating at a local community college.
I've also dabbled in crafts such as making jewelry from eggs, paper mache, feathers and some leather goods. I'm very involved with Environmental Issues and have been working in the field of sustainability for almost eight years now. I'm happy to say three of the books I helped research have been selling out on Amazon. Check here to look inside:

I started an email group several years ago that now has close to 700 pysanky artists, many of them well-established in this field. It has been wonderful bringing all these great artists together.
Join the Eggs-Pysanky EMAIL GROUP. There are many people here with decades of experience to share. New artists are always welcomed. Here is a collection of items that will help you create your prize pysanky!
